Four years ago, I got a Jeep Cherokee. I call her Shawna. She was brand new when I got her, probably the only brand new car I will ever own. When I got Shawna, I had a vision of what my life would be. I believed that I would be pregnant sometime soon. I saw… Continue reading Change of Plans
How are you doing today? Me, I'm struggling. I find myself overwhelmed with anxiety. I'm not panicking out of fear of the pandemic. I see the virus in its appropriate context - absolutely something to be concerned about, to take preventive measures against, and to protect those most at risk from. But I'm not hoarding… Continue reading Walk in the Rain

But, when we watch her face, it is very clear that she is alert. She is constantly looking for anything moving that may invade her… Continue reading Back to Safety
I'm in a co-dependent relationship. With my dog. Her name is Daisy; she's a German Shepherd - Lab mix, and she's awesome. And neurotic. We are truly two peas in a pod. What do I mean by neurotic? Well, for starters, Daisy likes the idea of going outside, but she doesn't like to feel as… Continue reading Two Peas
